Atiq Ahmed wept bitterly in the court room after hearing the encounter news of son Asad

The accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad and aide Ghulam have been killed in an encounter on Thursday   in Jhansi by Santosh Kumar Sharma  and Arvind Ojha . It is being told that a reward of Rs 5 lakh was declared on Asad and his associate. During the encounter, STF has claimed that  sophisticated foreign weapons have been recovered from them.

Atiq wept bitterly in the court

In fact, Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were presented in a Prayagraj court on Thursday in connection with the Umesh Pal murder case. Atiq was brought here from Gujarat’s high-security Sabarmati Central Jail to Prayagraj to be produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Dinesh Gautam. His brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf was brought to Prayagraj by road. When Atiq came to know about the encounter of son Asad in the court room, he started crying bitterly and faint on the ground.
