Navy commando Ankur Sharma tragically died during a parachute training exercise in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. His parachute became entangled in a high-tension wire and caught fire, leading to severe injuries. The incident occurred when Sharma jumped from an aircraft at night, deviating from the intended dropping zone.

After descending safely initially, strong winds caused Sharma’s parachute to veer off course by about two kilometers. Tragically, it got entangled in the high-tension wire during this deviation. Despite immediate medical attention at the Military hospital, Sharma could not be saved, and he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are taking action following this tragic accident. The Malpura police are conducting a post-mortem examination, and the body will be sent to Ankur Sharma’s family.
