As part of the promotional activities for her upcoming romantic comedy film “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” Sara decided to seek blessings at the revered temple. However, her visit ignited a storm of criticism and trolling from a certain section of netizens.

Sara, donning a simple pink saree and a teeka (a religious mark) on her forehead, arrived in Madhya Pradesh to pay homage at the sacred Mahakal temple. Inside the temple, she was captured offering prayers and meditating, expressing her devotion.

Sharing her experience on social media, Sara posted a carousel of pictures from her visit, along with the caption “Jai Mahakal” to convey her reverence.

Unfortunately, the moment Sara shared her post, a segment of netizens responded with harsh and derogatory comments, targeting her for visiting the temple.

Some users questioned her religious identity, with one comment suggesting that her visit was a disgrace to the Muslim community. Another user accused her of deliberately stirring controversy. The trolling continued, expressing disapproval and criticizing her actions.

Despite the negative backlash, there were also individuals who came to Sara’s defense, highlighting her inclusive and respectful approach towards various religions. Supporters praised her for freely embracing different religious sites, including mosques and temples, without any discrimination.

They urged for peace and harmony, emphasizing that religious choices should not create divisions or animosity among people.

On a professional note, Sara Ali Khan’s film “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” directed by Laxman Utekar and co-starring Vicky Kaushal, is scheduled for release in cinemas on June 2.

The film’s promotions have been ongoing, and Sara’s visit to the Mahakal temple was part of this campaign. Despite the controversy surrounding her temple visit, the film’s release is eagerly awaited by fans and moviegoers.
