Delhi : AAP MLA shows bundle of cash in Delhi Assembly, says it is corrupt money

AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal shows bundles of notes in the Delhi Assembly and says, “These are bribe money given to me in token, I want to get them caught by risking my life”.

Mohinder Goyal, AAP MLA from Rithala, Delhi, shows bundles of currency notes received as bribe in the assembly. Giving information about the whole matter, the MLA said that a tender has been issued for recruitment to several posts including nursing in Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital. In this, a huge amount is deposited through tokens.

The AAP MLA told that for recruitment to various posts in the hospital, there is a provision of the government that 80 percent old employees will have to be kept, but this is not happening. It is collected on a large scale. Employees do not get full money even after getting work. The contractors charge a hefty amount from them. The employees were on strike for this matter, where they were assaulted.

Speaker has not yet taken any action-

AAP MLA showed the notes and said that these notes were given as bribe. He further said that apart from this, he is putting his life at risk by doing this work. However, the Speaker of the Assembly has not yet given any response in this regard. It is possible that he may also order the Delhi Police to tighten its security and investigate bribery cases.

Four BJP MLAs were expelled from the assembly.
Due to the uproar inside the Delhi Assembly, four BJP MLAs have been thrown out of the house. BJP MLAs Abhay Verma, Ajay Mahawar, OP Sharma and Anil Vajpayee have been expelled.
