In Madhya Pradesh, the period of heavy rains, thunderstorms and hailstorm is continuing in most of the areas. The hailstorm covered the roads like a white sheet and the crops of wheat, gram and mustard standing in the fields were ruined. There is still no hope of relief from the weather.

Because of this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called an emergency meeting. The Chief Minister has issued necessary instructions in the meeting. In the meeting, he told that information about untimely rain and hailstorm has come in 20 districts of the state. During the rains around March 6 to 8, the survey of the first phase has been completed. The survey for the second phase has started from 6 to 19 March.

Survey teams have been formed everywhere and survey work is going on. The staff of Revenue, Agriculture and Panchayat and Rural Development Department has been included in the survey team. The complete work of crop survey will be done by March 25.

CM Shivraj said that the Madhya Pradesh government is standing with the farmer brothers and sisters. There should be no carelessness in the survey, the survey should be done with full honesty and do not commit any kind of mistake. Involve the staff of Revenue, Agriculture and Panchayat Development together in the survey. After completion of the survey, the list should be posted in the Panchayat office

If any farmer’s objection comes after the survey, then it should also be resolved. With full transparency, with sensitivity, the Bharatiya Janata Party government is with the farmers. Crop loss will be compensated under RBC 6-4. Animal loss has also been reported, the Madhya Pradesh government will compensate for the loss of animal. The entire work of crop survey will be done by March 25.
