Liquor shop in MP has not been closed since 2010 nor will it be closed , know the rules of new liquor policy

MP News : After the introduction of new liquor policy in MP, various kinds of talks are happening regarding liquor shops. Most of the discussion was about liquor traders. But now the Shivraj government has announced to end the siege from April 1. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the feelings of public interest. However, liquor shops will remain open in the state as before.

The Shivraj government has made an announcement about this, putting an end to the doubt. Liquor can be bought and sold both at liquor shops. But consumption of liquor will not be allowed in public places or in the open. Regarding this, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that the cabinet has approved the proposal to close all open-air bars in the state. After which it has been decided to keep the campus closed from April 1.

Not a single liquor shop has been closed in Madhya Pradesh since 2010. Regarding this, the Home Minister said that many rules have been made regarding liquor. Strict action will be taken against those who drive after drinking alcohol. Under this, their driving license can also be canceled. Along with this, it has been decided in the new liquor policy that there will be liquor shops at a distance of 100 meters from religious and social places across the state. Please tell that earlier this distance was 50 meters.

According to the MP government, the decision to close the yard has been taken to reduce the government’s consumption in the state. It is estimated that after its closure, there will be a decrease in the number of people consuming alcohol. Addressing a public meeting, CM Shivraj said that the decision to close it was taken in February itself and now it will be implemented from April 1.
