Madhya Pradesh: 12 more cheetahs may come next week, will remain quarantined for a month

The second batch of cheetahs is expected to arrive soon from South Africa in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park and preparations have also been completed for this. According to the information received, the second batch of 12 cheetahs is expected to arrive here on February 18. Recently eight cheetahs were released in this national park. Let us tell you that on September 17, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the first batch of eight cheetahs brought from Namibia in Kuno National Park.

Cheetahs will be quarantined for a month

He informed that these cheetahs will be taken from South Africa to Gwalior before being taken to Kuno National Park. Although he said that he has no information about how many males and females will be there. According to the Chief Conservator of Forests, after the cheetahs are brought from South Africa, as per the rules, they will be kept in quarantine for a month.
