Bhopal: The tourism department of the state government will now organize meetings of government departments to increase their income at the Hanuwantiya tourist place built on the backwaters of Narmada river in Khandwa district.
Shivshekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, has written a letter to all department heads and managing directors of public undertakings in this regard, saying that the Water Festival is being celebrated in Hanuwantian by the Tourism Board till January 29, 2023.
During this, along with adventure activities based on water, land and air, cultural programs are also being organized there. Hanuwantiya has hundred air-conditioned tents for accommodation, conference hall facility for more than 200 persons and a dining hall for catering and regional cuisine is also available.
The place is suitable for all kinds of meetings and conferences. Provision has also been made for special relaxation for organizing mass reservation and conferences in Hanuwanti. Along with this, in order to promote wellness in Hanuvantiya, the famous Kairali Group of Kerala is also running a Wellness Center- Wellness Spa. That’s why it should be used for meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition etc.
