Following after his arrest on graft charges the previous day, former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan was remanded in the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) custody in the Al-Qadir Trust case for eight days on Wednesday, according to his attorneys.

Imran Khan will be physically detained for eight days, the court has authorised, according to Ali Bukhari, a lawyer for Khan, who spoke to AFP by phone after the hearing behind closed doors.
