So, recently the news of changing the name of Indore railway station was also heard when Indore got the gift of state-of-the-art railway station to give it a grand look on the lines of Rajwada at a cost of one thousand crores.
At present, another big news has come to the fore regarding the name change. The demand to rename Jabalpur railway station as “Rani Durgavati” has been raised by MP Rakesh Singh. For this, he also held a meeting with the West Central Railway officials. He said that it is a long process but still the name should be changed.
Now it has to be seen that till when Jabalpur railway station will get its new name “Rani Durgavati”. Let us tell you that the demand for changing the name is also arising because the railway station will be given a grand look on the lines of Rani Kamalapati at a cost of about Rs 300 crore. After the Rail Budget, first Indore and now Jabalpur have got a big gift from the Central Government.
