MP boils over the price of LPG cylinder, Congress raised a big demand in the assembly

On the first day of March, there has been an increase in the prices of domestic cooking gas cylinders, the effect of which was also seen in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
The budget of the state was presented in the Vidhansabha, but before the budget, the opposition party Congress created a lot of ruckus and protested in the Vidhansabha regarding the increase in the price of cooking gas. Expressing protest, the Congressman reached the assembly with a gas cylinder.

Congress workers led by former Finance Minister Tarun Bhanaut, PC Sharma, Jayawardhan Singh and MLA Kunal Chowdhary were among those who protested. Congress protested against the increase in prices and raised slogans. The Congress MLAs also raised the demand that on the lines of Rajasthan, every poor family in Madhya Pradesh should be given a subsidy of Rs.500 per cylinder. Also this should be announced in the budget.

Here, regarding the increase in the price of domestic gas, former CM of MP Kamal Nath said that inflation is a big problem and the price of gas cylinders was increased even before the budget. They have reduced the budget of the house and say that they will give 1000 rupees to women.

Explain that the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder has also been increased by Rs 350. With this increase, the domestic gas cylinder available for Rs 1053 will be available for ₹ 1103, commercial gas cylinder for ₹ 2119 instead of ₹ 1769. Even before this, the central government had changed the price of LPG gas cylinder several times last year as well. After which, from April 2017 to July 2022, an increase of up to 45 percent in the price of LPG gas cylinder was recorded.
