Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ is once again in the news. Recently, a new poster of the film was released, featuring Prabhas as Lord Shri Ram and Kriti Sanon as Mother Sita. After the appearance of this poster, once again the controversy regarding ‘Adipurush’ has started.
A case has been registered against the film’s director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar as well as the film’s cast for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. Saint Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari of Sanatan Dharma has filed a case complaint at Sakinaka Police Station of Mumbai High Court through Mumbai High Court lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra.

The complaint states that the makers of Adipurush have depicted characters from the Hindu scripture Ramcharitmanas in inappropriate attire, thereby hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.
The complainant has also claimed that all the characters in Ramayana wore Janeu, which has special significance in Hindi Sanatan Dharma. But none of the characters in the poster is wearing a sacred thread. Kriti Sanon, who is playing the role of Mata Sita, did not apply sindoor.
