The romantic musical film, “Satyaprem Ki Katha,” featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, experienced a slight decline in box office collections on Friday, which was a working day. The movie had a decent opening on the Eid-al-Adha holiday on Thursday.
As of now, it has accumulated a total of approximately ₹24.46 crore in its two-day run. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film also stars Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. It is being recognized as a progressive film with a meaningful message for its audience.
On Friday, the second day of its release, “Satyaprem Ki Katha” collected around ₹7.19 crore, showing a 22 percent decline compared to its opening day collection of ₹9.25 crore. A report on Sacnilk.com also predicted a collection of approximately ₹8 crore on Saturday.
Expressing her gratitude to her fans, Kiara took to Instagram and wrote an emotional note, thanking them for their overwhelming support and praise. She acknowledged their unwavering support from the beginning and expressed her joy in witnessing their sense of victory.
Kiara emphasized that their success was her success and expressed her deep gratitude for their love and support.
The film has garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences, with praise for its music, including songs like “Naseeb Se,” “Aaj Ke Baad,” and “Sun Sajni.” However, the recreated version of the hit Pakistani song “Pasoori” received a mixed response from the audience.
