The date of January 10 is very important for Hindi lovers in the country and the world. On this day in the year 2006, the then PM Manmohan Singh had announced to celebrate Hindi Day every year on January 10 in the year 2006 for the promotion of Hindi.
World Hindi Day 2023 :

The first World Hindi Conference was held in Nagpur;
World Hindi conferences were started with the aim of developing Hindi in the world and promoting it as an international language. The first World Hindi Conference was held on 10 January 1975 at Nagpur. That is why this day is celebrated as World Hindi Day. Let us know how Hindi Diwas is different from the Hindi fortnight celebrated in the country.
Hindi fortnight on 14 September;
On September 14, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of the country unanimously adopted Hindi as the official language. That’s why every year 14th September is celebrated as Hindi Diwas. During this Hindi Fortnight is organized. During this Hindi Pakhwada various competitions are organized in the Ministry like:- Hindi translation, Hindi noting/writing, Hindi dictation, Hindi poetry recitation etc.
Hindi Articles 342 and 351 of the Constitution;
The Constituent Assembly has assigned this constitutional and administrative responsibility to all of us that according to Articles 343 and 351 of the Constitution, we should increase the publicity by making maximum use of the official language Hindi. According to Article 351, it will be the duty of the Union to increase the spread of Hindi, to develop it. Due to this, it can become a medium of expression of all the elements of Indian national culture. and to assimilate, without interfering with their nature, the forms, styles and expressions used in Hindustani and in the other languages of India specified in the Eighth Schedule.
