Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has been embroiled in a fresh controversy after his private videos on social media and intimate chats allegedly involving a girl have surfaced online. According to various tweets and reports, Babar was ‘sexting’ with the girlfriend of another Pakistani cricketer. That being said, the chat is quite interesting, that too from the girlfriend of a fellow cricketer.

The video, audio and pictures were leaked on social media by an anonymous Instagram user with the ID @eish.arajpoot.1. This has left fans divided. Some have believed the leaked recordings and photographs while others believe it to be a deliberate attempt to discredit him.
Notably, Azam was accused of harassing and blackmailing a woman earlier identified as Hameza Mukhtar. She alleged that he sexually assaulted her and forced her to undergo an abortion. Reportedly, Hameza had approached the FIA regarding the case.
In 2020 November, a woman accused Babar of sexual assault, claiming that the cricketer had exploited her for 10 years and had given her false hopes of marriage, among many other unsavory allegations.
