Elon Musk announced on Twitter that voice and video features for Twitter will soon be available to facilitate conversation with anyone and everyone on the platform. The purpose of this is to facilitate conversations between people without requiring the exchange of phone numbers.

Voice and video chat from your handle to anyone on this platform will be available soon, enabling you to communicate with people anywhere in the world without having to give out your phone number, Elon Musk tweeted.
