Indore : The ger of Rangpanchami was visible everywhere in the holy city of Mother Ahilya, Indore. The age-old tradition organized on the occasion of Rangpanchami was followed well on Sunday. The Rajwada of Indore was seen painted with rainbow colours. The city dwellers, who arrived in lakhs, were seen in the colors of Rangpanchami with joy and ger. The entire Rajwada got drenched in the showers of colors emanating from big missiles. Indore’s Ger’s pictures are going viral on social media। At the same time, the employees are being praised for cleaning the roads of Indore in an hour after Ger.
Security arrangements in Ger
On Sunday, several organizations took out a procession at the Rajwada. The city residents were showered with colors through missiles. Women also participated in the occasion of Ger in Rajwada. Women were seen dancing to the tunes of the hymns. Special security arrangements were made regarding Ger. Officers and employees of the police administration were seen deployed in the security system. At the same time, security system was chalked out with CCTV, drone cameras and buildings.
About 6 lakh people joined
On Rangpanchami, people from different states across the country participated in the ger that took place at the historic Rajwada of Indore. It is being told that about 6 lakh people participated in Ger. Gere’s enthusiasm appeared to be at its peak. The importance of Ger, which came out on Rangpanchami, was also more because its videography and photography were done for presentation in front of UNESCO.
Use of 2 thousand kg natural color
On Rangpanchami, 4 ger and two phag yatras took place in the city. In which about 2 thousand kg of natural and Tesu flower colors were used. The people involved in the fag gangs were blowing horns and blowing gulal with their hands. This fun of Ger lasted till about four in the afternoon. BJP’s national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya also participated in Ger. MLA Ramesh Mendola also joined him.
Rajwada became dazzling in 1 hour
Immediately after the end of the Ger, the cleaning staff of the Municipal Corporation completed the cleaning of the Rajwada area in 1 hour. Expressing happiness, Collector Ilaiah Raja T congratulated the cleaning staff. He has said that it is this Indori spirit, which really makes us the best.

State CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also congratulated the people of the state on Ger. At the same time, he also praised the cleanliness of Indore.
