Congress : Gehlot remained absent at the wind up of Bharat Jodo Yatra..! Know the reason amid speculation?

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra concluded on Monday. Leaders of several parties, including the Congress, were present on the decorated stage for the closing ceremony amid snowfall. In the midst of all this, senior Congress leader and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot did not appear in the closing ceremony, so many questions were raised on social media.

Some had linked it to the factionalism of the Congress, while some had linked it to the Pilot-Gehlot tussle, but later Ashok Gehlot put an end to all the speculations by issuing a statement.

While congratulating Rahul Gandhi, he wrote on social media that due to getting infected with pneumonia on January 26, I am not able to attend any public event. I had a heartfelt desire to attend the concluding program of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar today, but could not go there due to doctor’s advice.

Let us inform that Rahul Gandhi on Monday concluded the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ by unfurling the tricolor at the Congress office in Srinagar. The yatra began 145 days ago on September 7 from Kanyakumari. Which ended with addressing party workers at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar.
