On the last day February 26 of the 85th Congress convention, Rahul Gandhi addressed party leaders and workers. During this, Rahul Gandhi, while referring to ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, said that I used to think that I was fit, would walk 20-25 KM, but as soon as the journey started, the old knee pain returned and in 10-15 days my ego was over. Bharat Mata gave me a message that if you have set out to walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, then remove your ego from your heart, otherwise don’t walk.
He further said that the Prime Minister says that I too hoisted the tricolor at Lal Chowk. The Prime Minister did not understand the difference. Narendra Modi ji along with 15-20 BJP people hoisted the tricolor at Lal Chowk. ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ hoisted the tricolor with the hands of lakhs of youth of Kashmir.
Attacking the RSS-BJP, Rahul Gandhi said that we are satyagrahis and the RSS-BJP people are in power. They will do anything for power. Will meet someone, will bow down in front of someone, this is their truth. A minister of the Modi government said – China’s economy is bigger than India’s, so how can we fight with them? When the British ruled us, was their economy smaller than ours? It means bow your head before the one who is more powerful than you.
Raising the issue of Adani, Rahul Gandhi told that in Parliament I asked what is Adani’s relation with PM Modi? So the whole government and all the ministers started protecting Adani. It is said that the one who attacks Adani is a traitor. Means Adani became the biggest patriot. This raises the question why BJP-RSS is protecting Adani?
He further said that we will keep asking questions on Adani, Congress will not back down on this issue. Whose money is this shell companies sending thousands and crores to India? Adani ji works in the defense industry but the government does not know that Adani has shell companies abroad. Why investigation is not happening, why not JPC? It is a matter of defense of the country.
Rahul Gandhi further said that Modi ji, SBI chairperson and Adani are seen sitting together in a photo of Australia. SBI is giving a loan of $1 billion to Adani. So why is Modi sitting there? What is the relationship? He directly says that ‘there is no relationship’ but there is a relationship because Adani and Modi ji are one and the entire wealth of the country is going in the hands of one man.
Rahul Gandhi told that when we ask questions in the House, my and Kharge ji’s speech is removed. We will ask the question a thousand times. Will keep asking questions until the truth comes out. I would like to say to those working in Adani’s company that your company is harming the country. The freedom struggle was also fought against the East India Company, that too was a company. That company had also taken away all the wealth and infrastructure of India. History is being repeated once again.
