Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, has been eliminated from the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2 in a surprise mid-week eviction. Aaliya, who entered the show as the eighth contestant, was nominated alongside Jiya Shankar for eviction this week.
She becomes the second contestant to be evicted after Puneet Superstar. Aaliya, known for her legal battles with Nawazuddin, aimed to showcase her true self and improve her public image on the show.
During a task inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, fellow contestant Pooja Bhatt advised Aaliya to stop playing the victim card. Pooja mentioned that many women, including herself, have experienced broken marriages but choose to move on.
Pooja expressed confusion over Aaliya’s behavior, stating that she witnessed a side of her that she found unsettling. Pooja highlighted incidents where Aaliya tried to instigate fights but also eagerly participated in celebrating a co-contestant’s birthday, questioning her contradictory actions.
The second season of Bigg Boss OTT began on June 17, featuring contestants such as Avinash Sachdev, Palak Purswani, Jiya Shankar, Falaq Naazz, and others. Social media influencer Puneet Superstar faced an unprecedented eviction within 24 hours of the show’s premiere.
