Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty tied the knot on 23 January. Apart from the family members of both, very few friends attended the wedding ceremony. Now after marriage, Rahul-Athiya can read a long wait for the grand reception and honeymoon.
It is being told that Rahul and Athiya have canceled their honeymoon trip. The reason for this is the busy cricket schedule of KL Rahul. Rahul has to play the home Test series against Australia in the month of February. Rahul has been made the vice-captain in the Test series.
After the Test series, Rahul has to play the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL can run from the end of March to the first week of May. In such a situation, Rahul and Athiya are not in a position to plan a honeymoon till May.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul recently tied the knot on January 23. The marriage took place at Athiya’s father Sunil Shetty’s Khandala bungalow. The marriage ceremony was kept completely private. The royal wedding was attended by Bollywood and sports stars and Rahul-Athiya’s close friends.
