Earthquake of Magnitude 3.2 Hits Haryana’s Rohtak, NCS Reports

In the early hours of Saturday, Haryana’s Rohtak district experienced a jolt as a magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck the region. The National Center for Seismology confirmed the occurrence, stating that the tremor occurred northwest of Rohtak at 3:57 am local time.

The earthquake’s depth was recorded at 10 kilometers, with its precise location approximately 35 kilometers northwest of Rohtak.

Earlier this month, Haryana’s Jhajjar district was also hit by a magnitude 2.5 earthquake. On June 6 at 7:08 am, the tremor occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers.

Further details regarding the recent Rohtak earthquake are currently awaited.
