Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced a big relief to MSMEs with an annual turnover of up to Rs 3 crore. They will be given tax exemption. Also, professionals earning Rs 75 lakh will get tax exemption.
The Finance Minister presented the general budget. In this budget, a big gift has been given to about 6 crore small businessmen across the country. The Finance Minister has announced that a loan of Rs 2 lakh crore will be given to MSMEs across the country. Under the new scheme, this loan is being given at 1 percent less interest. The government will be the guarantor for the bank to give this loan easily.
