Narmadapuram; Special decorations have been done at Sethani Ghat and other ghats for the two-day birth anniversary program of Punya Salila Maa Narmada. House-to-house lamps will be lit on Narmada Jayanti and the pride day of Narmadapuram. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also participate in the program by reaching Sethani Ghat on Saturday.
Maa Narmada Janmotsav program has started from Friday. A water stage has been made in front of the main function venue in the water stream of Narmada. Along with specially cleaning the ghats, dyeing, painting and attractive decorations have been done. The ghats have become more attractive with colorful rainbow lights.
Narmada Jayanti will celebrated like Diwali, on the auspicious occasion of Gaurav Diwas and Narmada Jayanti, lamps will be lit in every house in Narmadapuram. To give grandeur to the event, the residents of the city will also light lamps at their homes. Along with special aarti on the birth anniversary of Maa Narmada, dance drama and devotional songs will also be organized in the cultural programme.
