In a tragic incident, a woman was discovered dead, her body hidden in a water tank at a residence in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The victim, identified as Raj Kesar (35), was recovered from the house belonging to the accused, Arvind, in the Mahewa locality.
According to the police, Arvind confessed to killing Kesar approximately two weeks ago and concealing her body in the tank at his under-construction house.
The investigation commenced after Kesar’s family reported her missing on May 30. Law enforcement officials apprehended Arvind based on the analysis of Kesar’s phone records, subsequently subjecting him to questioning.
It was during this interrogation that Arvind provided information leading to the recovery of the victim’s remains. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
