Jiah Khan’s Mother Rabia Khan Slams Verdict, Calls Trial a Mockery of Judiciary

Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Khan, has criticized the recent acquittal of Sooraj Pancholi in the abetment to suicide case of her daughter. In a statement, she expressed disappointment in the trial, stating that all evidence pointing towards a homicidal death was ignored. Rabia accused the police and CBI of compromising the investigation and failing to establish the actual cause of Jiah’s death. She also called out Sooraj for his insensitivity in celebrating the trial win.

Jiah Khan, the 25-year-old actress known for her role in “Nishabd,” was found dead at her Mumbai home in 2013. Sooraj Pancholi, who was in a relationship with Jiah, was arrested and later acquitted based on a six-page letter allegedly written by Jiah.
