In a major operation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched widespread raids across six states in India. The raids, targeting 122 locations, are part of the agency’s efforts to dismantle the alleged nexus between terrorist groups, gangsters, and drug smugglers operating from foreign countries like Pakistan and Canada.
Early morning on Wednesday, a team of NIA officials, consisting of around a dozen members, simultaneously carried out searches in suspected houses in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh. The agency’s crackdown aims to disrupt and neutralize the illicit activities of these interconnected networks.
