Madhya Pradesh : Sukhoi and Miraj plane crash that flew from Gwalior airbase, pilot dead

Morena :  Indian Air Force fighter aircraft Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 suddenly crashed during a training exercise. After the accident, one of the two aircraft fell in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district and the other in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district. Both the aircraft were burnt to ashes in the accident. A Sukhoi crashed in Pahargarh, Morena, whose injured pilot has been admitted to the hospital. While the pilot of Miraj has died in Pingora village of Bharatpur.

The news of the crash of Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 aircraft in Morena district on Saturday morning created a ruckus. It is learned that both these aircraft took off from Gwalior airbase at around 9.15 am. After covering a distance of 50 km, the aircraft caught fire in the air and crashed into the jungle of Morena hill. In this accident, the pilot managed to save himself, after the fire, the pilot jumped with a parachute, which saved his life.

Morena Collector said that both the pilots of the aircraft have been saved. Both have been admitted to the hospital in injured condition. At present, the search operation is going on in the area.

On the other hand, Morena SP Ashutosh Bagri told that according to the information received from the Air Force, there were 2 pilots in one plane and only one pilot in the other. Two pilots are safe while the body parts of one pilot of the other aircraft have been recovered. Along with this, some parts of an aircraft have also fallen in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

Two fighter jets of the Indian Air Force crashed near Gwalior this morning,” the Air Force said in a statement. The aircraft was on a routine operational flight training mission. One of the 3 pilots involved has lost his life. An inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause of the accident.

On the other hand, another fighter plane fell on the ground in the form of a ball of fire near Pingora village of Uchain police station area of ​​Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. The District Magistrate said that the Gwalior unit has an Indian Air Force aircraft. According to the information received at present, the pilot had ejected. But now only the remains of his body have been found after the accident.

Former Northern Command Commander BS Jaiwal told Aaj Tak that the entire incident would be revealed only from the black box. But the fact that both the planes crashed together is surprising.

Along with this, from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is keeping an eye on the accident. CM Shivraj has given necessary instructions to the Collector of Morena for rescue and relief work.

CM Shivraj wrote in a tweet, “The news of the crash of Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 aircraft of the Air Force near Kolaras in Morena is extremely sad. I have directed the local administration to cooperate with the Air Force in speedy rescue and relief operations. I pray to God that the pilot of the plane is safe.
