Now the state government has to take a decision on the study report of the forest officers. Sources said that the Van Mahotsav to be celebrated on July 23 is likely to start giving concrete shape to the “Sanskriti Van”. At present, discussions are on to make the Sanskriti Van in Mahakal city Ujjain, Chitrakoot, Bhojpur, Omkareshwar and Maihar.
Every year only one culture forest will be prepared. Its design is being made in such a way that tourists are also attracted towards it. Darsal, Sanskriti Van will be developed on local cultural, religious and historical themes. In Gujarat, culture has been developed from one and a half hectare to 15 hectare.
Most of these cultures are built on 1 revenue land. But there is no revenue land left in Madhya Pradesh, so the idea of developing it on forest land is being considered. Brainstorming is going on after its area has been fixed at about 4 to 5 hectares.
