Mahashivaratri : CM gave instructions – concrete arrangements should be made for crisis management

 Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that concrete arrangements should be made for crisis management on Mahashivratri festival. Chief Minister Shivraj was directing the officials through video conferencing while taking information about the breaking of the suspension bridge wire in Omkareshwar

He said that keeping in mind the Mahashivaratri festival, all arrangements should be made well in advance so that no untoward incident takes place anywhere in the state. He directed the district authorities to make necessary security arrangements in connection with the incident of suspension bridge falling into Narmada river at Omkareshwar. It is noteworthy that this incident took place today morning. On getting information about the incident, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan had given necessary instructions to the officials while on stay in Jabalpur and Rewa. As soon as he returned from the tour, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan called a meeting in this regard and got detailed information.

Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan said that on the occasion of Mahashivratri, fairs and festivals are organized at various places in the state. In this lakhs of devotees reach to visit fairs, festivals and temples. In this regard, he instructed Additional Chief Secretary Home Dr. Rajesh Rajoura to make concrete preparations to control the crowd in advance. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi and Officer on Special Duty Anshuman Singh were also present in the video conferencing.
