National award winning singer Vani Jayaram passes away, injury on her forehead
National Award winning renowned playback singer Vani Jayaram passed away. Recently Vani Jayaram was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third highest civilian award. Vani Jayaram passed away at her home in Chennai.
The reason for Vani Jairam’s death is not clear. However, marks of injury are being told on his forehead. She was 78 years old. She has won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer thrice. He has also received state awards from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat and Odisha.
Vani Jayaram has worked with some of the biggest composers from various industries and delivered evergreen songs. Vani Jayaram has sung many songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Tulu and Oriya. It is noteworthy that Vani Jayaram recently completed 50 years as a professional singer. He has recorded more than 10,000 songs in his career. He has worked with other renowned composers including MS Ilaiyaraaja, RD Burman, KV Mahadevan, OP Nayyar and Madan Mohan.
