OMG 2 is set to hit theaters on August 11 of this year. Within just an hour of its release, the poster shared by Akshay Kumar on Instagram has already gone viral, showcasing him in an extraordinary look inspired by Lord Shiva.

Accompanying the photo, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Aa rahe hai hum, aayega aap bhi [we are coming, you are also invited]. August 11. In theaters. #OMG2.” Notably, Akshay Kumar’s film will face a box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” and Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2,” both also releasing on August 11.

OMG 2, written and directed by Amit Rai, is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2012 film “OMG – Oh My God,” which starred Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
