In a significant development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute 71,000 appointment letters at a Rozgar Mela (employment fair) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh’s capital, tomorrow. The event, taking place at Samanvay Bhavan, aims to provide employment opportunities to a large number of individuals and contribute to the government’s goal of generating 10 lakh jobs before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Through video conferencing, PM Modi will personally hand out the appointment letters and address the newly appointed personnel. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia will also be present at the event.

The Rozgar Mela is part of a series of recruitment drives conducted by the government. The first three fairs, held in October 2022, November 2022, and January 2023, saw a total of 217,000 appointment letters being distributed to deserving candidates.
The upcoming event in Bhopal marks the fourth installment, where an additional 71,000 appointment letters will be handed over to selected individuals. These appointments serve as a crucial step in empowering the youth and fostering their participation in the nation’s development.
To ensure the holistic development of the newly appointed personnel, they will have the opportunity to undergo training through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online orientation course designed for government employees. This initiative aims to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge required to excel in their respective roles.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has emphasized that the Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities for the youth to contribute to the nation’s progress.
