Uttarakhand : Health Minister set out mandatory covid-19 guidelines regarding Char dham yatra

In view of the increasing cases of corona, the scope of Covid testing and vaccination is being increased in Uttarakhand. For this, instructions have been given to the departmental officers. At the same time, the Chardham Yatra to be held in the midst of increasing cases is also a matter of concern. In view of this, the Covid guidelines issued from time to time will be strictly implemented in the state. Better health facilities will be provided to the pilgrims coming on the seven Char Dham Yatra. For which the departmental officers have been instructed to rectify all the arrangements.

On the other hand, Uttarakhand’s Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat took a review meeting of the Health Department at the Assembly office on Monday. During this, the Health Minister apprised the officials about the rapidly increasing corona cases in the country. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the figures of corona infection are increasing rapidly in many states of the country.

In view of this, the Covid testing and vaccination campaign will be expedited in the state. Along with this, the Covid guidelines issued from time to time by the Government of India and the State Government will be strictly implemented in the state. He said that if needed, vaccination camps would be organized at public places. So that no person gets in the grip of corona infection.

Important instructions given regarding Chardham Yatra

Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has also expressed concern over the Chardham Yatra to be held amidst increasing cases. He informed that the Chardham Yatra is also going to start from 22nd April. In which lakhs of pilgrims from all over the country will participate. Necessary instructions have been given to the departmental officers to provide health facilities to the pilgrims on the Char Dham Yatra routes. In the meeting, the Director General of Health was instructed to conduct on-the-spot inspection of all the medical units falling on the Chardham Yatra routes. Along with this, instructions have been given to ensure deployment of necessary doctors and paramedical staff during the yatra before April 15.
