On Saturday, rain finally fell in a few parts of Mumbai after the monsoon was significantly delayed. As a result, parts of the city experienced severe waterlogging. Videos showed a number of cars stranded in the Andheri tube due to flooding.
Mumbai’s relentless rain on Saturday caused water logging in the Andheri underground, which has since been closed to vehicular traffic, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the traffic police.
Due to waterlogging, traffic continued to move slowly at the Asalpha Sakinaka junction in Andheri East, according to the Mumbai Traffic Police.
After sometime , The rain water is restored and traffic police cleared the way of Andheri line. the rain water is drained off from the road.
Additionally, it stated that traffic on BD Road near Mahalaxmi Temple was sluggish because of waterlogging.
According to the traffic police, vehicular traffic on Gafar Khan Road near the Worli Sealink gate is sluggish due to watedia Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai as well as the nearby communities of Palghar and Thane. This warning indicates that there will probably be lots of rain during those dates.
