14 Hindu temples vandalized in Bangladesh, know the whole matter
The incident of vandalism in Hindu temples has come to the fore in Bangladesh. According to information, unknown miscreants vandalized 14 Hindu temples in northwestern Bangladesh on Saturday night. Police informed on Sunday that Vidyanath Barman, a leader of the Baliyadangi Hindu community in Thakurgaon, said that unidentified people attacked the temples in the night and broke the idols of 14 temples.
It is being told that some broken idols of temples have also been found in the nearby ponds. Though the culprits are yet to be identified, they are expected to be nabbed soon.
In this regard, Samar Chatterjee, leader of the Hindu community and president of the Sangh Parishad, said, “This area has always been known as the area of inter-religious harmony, as no such heinous incident had happened here before. He says , that we have no dispute with anyone. We are able to understand who could be behind this attack. The in-charge of Baliadangi police station said that the attacks took place in several villages on Saturday night and early Sunday.
The Thakurgaon police chief said it clearly appears to be a well-planned conspiracy to disturb the peaceful situation in the country. He said that the police has immediately started investigation to trace the culprits. The Deputy Commissioner or Chief Administrative Officer of Thakurgaon said that the case appears to be a conspiracy against peace and communal harmony and a serious crime.
