Bhopal : International Science Festival organized for the first time in Bhopal, CM Shivraj inaugurated
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurates the India International Science Festival on January 21 at 10:30 am at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Manit. Union Science & Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and Science & Technology and MSME Minister Om Prakash Sakhalecha will be present as special guests at the festival.
The festival is under the aegis of Union Ministry of Biotechnology, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Department of Space, Department of Atomic Energy, Vigyan Bharati (VIBHA), Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MENIT). being done. Madhya Pradesh government is a partner in this entire program and M.P. Council of Science and Technology is the nodal agency.
Chief Scientific Advisor to the Central Government, Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Secretary Biotechnology Dr. Rajesh S. Gokhale, Secretary Ministry of Earth Sciences Dr. M. Ravichandran, Secretary Vigyan Bharati Dr. Sudhir Bhadauria, Director General, CSIR and Secretary DSIR Dr. (Mrs.) N. Kalaiselvi, Scientist H DBT Govt of India Dr. Sanjay Mishra will be specially present.
The main objective of celebrating Science Festival every year since 2015 is to celebrate scientific and technological achievements and to involve common people in this event. At the same time, it has been to bring joy, frolic and healthy entertainment in the lives of common people and to encourage creativity and innovations among school children.
More than 8,000 delegates from different regions of the country will participate in the science festival being held for the first time in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Eminent scientists, researchers, students from universities, colleges and schools, teachers and industry experts will participate in the festival. Around one lakh people are expected to witness the festival. The main theme of this festival being held in the amritkal of independence is ‘Moving towards amritkal with science, technology and innovation’. This time 15 activities will be organized in the festival. Renowned Sufi singer Kailash Kher will also sing on the first day.
