MP News : International conference on wildlife conservation will be held in Kanha Tiger Reserve , Know how to participate ?

Bhopal :  The State Forest Department, through its Jabalpur-based State Forest Research Institute, is going to organize a three-day international conference on wildlife conservation from 27 to 29 April 2023 at Kanha Tiger Reserve in Mandla district. For this, a budget of Rs 1.5 crore has been made available to the institute. Earlier this convention was planned to be held at Pachmarhi and then at Bandhavgarh, but after the consent of the Chief Secretary, it is now being held at Kanha Tiger Reserve.

Four topics will be discussed in this conference, which include : Wildlife Population Management, Wildlife Habitat Ecology, Wildlife Policies and Challenges and Conflict between Wildlife and Humans and ways to avoid it. 600 US Dollars from the foreign delegate and 300 US Dollars from his associate, 300 US Dollars from the representative of SAARC countries and 150 US Dollars from the associate, 5 thousand rupees from the student under the Indian representative, 20 thousand rupees from the professional Rs 10,000 will be taken from retired forest officer and Rs 5,000 from his assistant as registration fee.

To participate in the conference, online registration can be done till 20 February 2023. The registration fee will include accommodation, food and conference kit, that is, it will be made available by the organizers, but it will not include the travel expenses for coming and going to the conference venue.
