Delhi Metro News : Alcohol will be allowed in Delhi Metro trains for passengers

Two bottles of alcohol may now be transported inside the Delhi Metro. This crucial choice was made by the committee made up of CISF and Metro officers. Only two sealed spirits bottles may be carried in the metro, according to approval. Up until now, only the airport line of the metro allowed the use of sealed bottles of alcohol; the new order will now be in effect for all metro lines.

Alcohol consumption will be prohibited inside the metro’s walls, though. It is expected of Metro passengers to conduct themselves politely at all times. If a passenger is discovered acting inappropriately in a metro train while intoxicated, legal action will be taken against him.

Additionally, there are regulations regarding luggage in the Delhi Metro. According to this, passengers are only permitted to bring one bag with them that weighs no more than 25 kg. In addition, it is forbidden to bring flammable liquids of any kind and illegal spirits into the Delhi Metro. Any kind of explosive cannot be carried under any circumstances. Cutlery, knives, daggers, swords, cleavers, and other pointed objects are prohibited. Other than that, it is prohibited to carry any tools with a length of more than 7 inches (17.5 cm), including screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers. Additionally, it is not permitted to transport dirty plants in the metro.
