Man dies after using a toothache cure on YouTube

Ajay Mahto, who was identified, is said to have consumed too many Kaner (oleander) seeds after watching YouTube videos about how they may treat excruciating toothaches.

Mahto apparently swallowed a lot of oleander seeds while adhering to these home cures from YouTube videos. His condition deteriorated after consuming the substance, and he was taken to Bishnugarh Community Health Centre in Hazaribag where doctors immediately proclaimed him dead.Ajay’s father, Nunuchand Mahto, told medics that his son had taken kaner seeds to relieve a toothache after seeing YouTube videos, according to TOI.

Mahto reported that his son was attending a hotel in the city to study for his tests. A week prior, he had experienced dental pain. After that, he decided to eat kaner seeds, which were advocated in numerous YouTube videos, rather than seek medical advice.
