Indian Wrestlers  have declared May 11 to be “Black Day” in protest of the “slow pace of investigation” against the head of the Wrestling Federation of India, where they are demonstrating at Jantar Mantar in the nation’s capital. As a result of the alleged sexual harassment of seven female wrestlers, including one minor, the wrestlers have been protesting against WFI Chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

The wrestlers have been demonstrating in the nation’s capital for 19 days now, calling for Brij Bhushan’s arrest. They spoke to the media on Wednesday and proclaimed May 11th, Thursday, as “Black Day.” Additionally, Olympic medalists Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, and Commonwealth gold medalist Vinesh Phogat have asked their supporters to wear black bands on their heads and arms from 10 am to 2 pm on social media
