Bihar : Poisonous liquor vandal again in Bihar, causing stir due to many deaths
Local people have said about drinking poisonous liquor, the administration has refused to tell anything
Bihar : Poisonous liquor has once again created havoc in Bihar, a state that claims prohibition. In Siwan district, 5 people have died after drinking spurious liquor in the last 24 hours. The condition of more than 14 people is critical. Of these, 6 people lost their eyesight. It is feared that the death toll may increase. All these cases are of Bala and Bhopatpur villages under Lakdi Naviganj OP police station area of the district.
Suddenly patients started coming to Sadar Hospital one by one on Sunday night. One person died while reaching the hospital. Two more people died in the night. 2 people lost their lives this morning. Social media and people of the village say that the death toll is more than 8. More than 70 deaths had taken place in Chhapra 41 days back. The condition of 14 people is critical after drinking spurious liquor. 2 people are undergoing treatment in Siwan. The remaining 12 people have been referred. Three have been brought to Gorakhpur and 9 to Patna for treatment.

The local people have spoken of drinking poisonous liquor. The administration has refused to tell anything yet. The family has been banned from talking to the media. There is an atmosphere of chaos. Collector Amit Kumar Pandey says that nothing can be said now. Something can be said only after the postmortem report comes.
