Virat Kohli-Anushka drop the charges against the man who threatened their daughter
The Bombay High Court on Monday, April 10, ruled to quash the FIR lodged against a man who had threatened to rape the daughter of former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli.
A division bench of Justices AS Gadkari and PD Naik passed the order after the manager of the complainant, Kohli, in the case, agreed to drop the charges against the accused.
In the year 2021, when the Indian team had to face defeat against Pakistan for the first time in the T20 World Cup, then this man from Hyderabad had threatened to rape Kohli’s daughter through a tweet.
After this, on the action taken by the Delhi Women’s Commission, Hyderabad Police arrested software engineer Ramnagesh Akubathini.
