Rishabh Pant Shifted To Mumbai ; BCCI Said – Knee Surgery Will Be Done At Kokilaben Hospital

India’s star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been shifted from Dehradun to Mumbai. His car met with an accident in Roorkee, Uttarakhand on Friday (December 30). After that he was first admitted to the local competent hospital. After that Pant was kept in Max Hospital in Dehradun. Now he has been airlifted to Mumbai.

BCCI has issued a medical release regarding Pant. He told that Pant’s treatment will now be done at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. He will have surgery on his knee ligament. Pant still has pain and swelling in some parts of his body. This will also be treated there.

 BCCI wrote in its statement, “The Board of Control for Cricket in India has made all necessary arrangements for the transfer of India’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant to Mumbai.” Rishabh is receiving treatment for his injuries at Max Hospital in Dehradun following a car accident on 30 December. He will be brought to Mumbai in an air ambulance.

The board further wrote, “He will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute. He will be under the supervision of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, head of the Center for Sports Medicine at the hospital. Rishabh will undergo ligament tear surgery and post-procedures. The BCCI medical team will continue to monitor him during his recovery and rehabilitation.

The BCCI wrote, “The Board will make every effort to aid and expedite the recovery process of Rishabh and provide him all possible assistance during this period.”
