This charge sheet has been filed after about 75 days of the murder
Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet against accused Aftab in the famous Shraddha Walkar murder case. In the charge sheet filed in the Saket court, the police have recorded the story of Shraddha’s murder in about 6,629 pages. This charge sheet has been filed after about 75 days of the murder.
It is being told that the Delhi Police along with 100 witnesses have prepared forensic and electronic evidence on the basis of charge sheet. Bones recovered from Chhatarpur forests and their DNA reports are also part of the charge sheet. Along with this, the testimony of the shopkeeper from whom Aftab had bought the fridge has also been included in the charge sheet.
Significantly, in May 2022, Shraddha Walkar was allegedly strangled to death by Aftab, her live-in relationship partner. After Shraddha’s murder, accused Aftab allegedly chopped her body into several pieces and threw it in the forests of Delhi. Aftab had kept the body in pieces in a 300-litre fridge for about three weeks before throwing it in the forest.
