Double dose of inflation, domestic-commercial cylinders now high priced, know how much the price has increased
March has started with a double dose of inflation. Domestic and commercial cylinders have become costlier since the first day of the month. The price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder has been increased by Rs 50 and that of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 350.50.
After the increase, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will now cost Rs 2119.50 in Delhi, while a domestic LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1103. The increased rates will be applicable from March 1 only.
Domestic cylinder prices have been increased after 8 months. Earlier, on July 1, 2022, the prices were increased. During this period, the price of commercial gas cylinder has been increasing continuously, but the price of cooking gas used in homes has not increased.
