The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has issued a yellow warning for 18 districts of Odisha from July 3 to 7. According to the IMD forecast, there is a high likelihood of light to moderate rain or thundershowers in some areas of these districts.
Thunderstorms with lightning are expected in specific districts such as Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, and others. Heavy rainfall is also anticipated in certain districts during this period.
On July 4, from 8:30 am to 8:30 am on July 5, the IMD predicts thunderstorms with lightning in districts like Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and others.
Heavy rainfall is expected in districts including Nuapada, Nawarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Rayagada.
From July 5 to 6, there is a forecast of heavy rainfall in districts such as Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Boudh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangapur, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Cuttack.
From July 6 to 7, IMD predicts heavy rainfall in districts like Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangapur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, and Bolangir.
IMD Predicts Rainfall and Thunderstorms in Tamil Nadu
