100 new schemes will be launched :
The Finance Minister said that 100 new schemes will be started in the Railways. Apart from this, a fund of Rs 75 crore has been given for new schemes. 100 schemes will be started with the help of private sector. On which further work will be done.
How much was the rail budget last year?
Last year i.e. in 2022, a total of Rs 1.4 lakh crore was allocated to the Ministry of Railways by the Central Government. It was also seen in the last budget that the government had increased the railway budget. Then the railway budget was increased by more than 20 thousand crores. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that 400 Vande Bharat trains equipped with the latest technology will be made in the next 3 years.
