In a recent incident, a Delhi-Sydney Air India flight, identified as AI-302 operating a B787-800 aircraft, encountered severe mid-air turbulence on Tuesday, causing discomfort and injuries to seven passengers. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed that the injured passengers received necessary medical assistance, with none requiring hospitalization.
The cabin crew promptly provided first aid during the flight, while Air India’s airport manager in Sydney organized medical assistance upon landing. The incident has been reported to the relevant authorities by Air India, emphasizing the safe landing and the proactive response to ensure passenger well-being.
