Telangana Set to Unveil World’s First 3D-Printed Temple, Details Inside
Telangana is making headlines with its groundbreaking project of constructing the world’s first 3D-printed Hindu temple. Spanning across 3,800 square feet, the temple is being built within the Charvitha Meadows villa community in Siddipet.
Spearheaded by Apsuja Infratech, in collaboration with Simpliforge Creations, a pioneering 3D-printed construction company, this architectural wonder is set to redefine traditional temple construction.
The temple comprises three distinct sanctums, or garbhas, each dedicated to a specific deity. The first garbha is shaped like a ‘modak’ and pays homage to Lord Ganesha, while the second is a square abode called Shivalay, dedicated to Lord Shankar.
The third garbha takes the form of a lotus, serving as a divine abode for Goddess Parvati. Hari Krishna Jeedipalli, MD of Apsuja Infratech, shared these captivating details about the temple’s design.

In a remarkable feat of engineering, Simpliforge Creations, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, had previously constructed India’s first 3D-printed bridge in just under two hours.
This groundbreaking technology was also employed for the temple project, allowing for efficient and precise construction.
The team successfully completed the dome-shaped modak, a challenging structure that required innovative techniques and took approximately six hours to print over a span of 10 days.
Encouraged by this achievement, the focus has now shifted to the construction of the lotus-shaped sanctum, dedicated to Goddess Parvati. The team is determined to surpass previous records and complete the lotus structure in even less time, as stated by Dhruv Gandhi, CEO of Simpliforge Creations.
The Telangana 3D-printed temple project not only showcases the incredible potential of 3D printing technology but also highlights its significant impact on the construction industry. With the ability to create complex and free-form structures, this innovative approach promises a new era of architectural possibilities.
As the world eagerly awaits the grand unveiling of this remarkable temple, Telangana’s pioneering spirit and commitment to technological advancements continue to inspire awe and admiration.
